Being a child of a military family I spent a good deal of my childhood traveling from school to school. in those experiences I met a great many people who led me to realize how important a good education is.

Having experienced college myself, I see every day why children should be afforded every opportunity to experience a college education. In today’s world, we must prepare our children for a work place that is becoming more technologically advanced every day by exposing them to technology in the classroom.

We must push our children to succeed. We must motivate them to want to learn beyond the classroom. I believe a child's love of learning begins at home and we as parents must do more. That is why I am running for Lockhart ISD Board of Trustees, because I believe in our children and I believe we can do more as parents to provide educational opportunities for tomorrow's leaders.
